ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS These "Terms and Conditions" constitute an agreement between you and the provider practice and  Praktice Inc's Collaboration on providing the services. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOU HAVE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY, UNDERSTAND EACH OF THEM, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ALL OF THEM. By accepting these Terms and Conditions once, you agree that you will be bound by them each and every time you use our Site or otherwise interact with us online. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you may not access or otherwise use our Site.

The AI Assistant service 

The AI-powered health assistant by the provider practice is enabled by Praktice Inc the healthcare AI Patient experience company, as a web app. This AI assistant’s primary purpose is to allow users to book or manage their appointments or other healthcare services by letting them enter their symptoms, medical conditions, or treatment that they are seeking to get done at the practice. This AI service also guides the users over the location of practice, timings or facility-related inquiries.

Not a medical Substitute

No Content on this patient access platform, is or should be considered, or used as a substitute for, medical advice, care, diagnosis or treatment. This is only for the purpose of realtime appointment bookings, non emergency appointment scheduling, elective or non elective treatment consultation bookings which are not an emergency or urgency.

Not For Emergencies

Anybody using the services by the AI assistant must not use this for any medical or psychiatric emergency purpose. In an emergency, you should dial  911 or visit the emergency department at your nearest ER Hospital.

Allowed age group

You must be at least 18 years or older and capable in your country of residence of entering into a legal binding agreement to use the AI Assistant's services in your country of residence.

What can the AI Assistant help you with

  • Transaction:  Any appointment booked, rescheduled or canceled. Or any enquires generated for the practice staff, insurance approval statuses tickets, etc via this AI assistant service is deemed as a transaction. For managing the appointments of self, dependant individuals(child/elderly) you may be requested to provide PHI to authorize/identify yourself.

  • Conversation: Any chat with the AI assistant resulting or not resulting into a transaction is a conversation.

The Provider Practice's patient support team

The patient support team from the provider practice is available as an extension to the AI assistant services. In cases of certain complex transactions, your lead may be collected and  shared to the clinic's patient support team to call you back at the earliest.


Collection of your Personal Information

This Practice collects personally identifiable information, such as your e-mail address, name, home or work address, or telephone number. This Practice also collects anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your ZIP code, age, gender, preferences, interests and favorites.

There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by this website. This information can include your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times, and referring Web site addresses. This information is used by the provider practice only and Praktice Inc does not use or disclose this data for any use by them or by any third party services. The practice uses the personal information for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding the use of this Web site.

Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through public message boards, this information may be collected and used by others.

Can I talk on behalf of others?

For users below the age group of 18 years the parents or guardians can talk to the AI assistant service regarding the health of the person. For adults above the age of 18 years the parents or guardians or relatives must have a verbal or written consent from the patient to discuss their health with the AI Assistant except for the cases when the patient is not in a position to see or admit their problem. In any such case the party on behalf of the patient must maintain the patient confidentiality.

Medical records

Under the Data Protection Act (1998) a person's medical records can be accessed by:

  • the person themselves

  • a parent or guardian of children under 16 – although in some cases the child may be entitled to decide if this information is passed on

  • a friend or relative, if they have the person's written permission

  • a friend or relative, if they have power of attorney

What is our Privacy Policy?

Our commitment to protecting your personal information

Whenever you provide personal information namely - Patient name, associated Age, Date of Birth, phone number we encrypt your data end to end to pass it to the practice and do-not have any visibility of any of your information in line with data protection law.

We take the security of your personal information seriously. We've set up security measures, policies and procedures such as:

  • training all staff annually in data and security protection

  • monitoring our platform to keep your personal information secure

  • following good practice guidance provided by the National Technical Authority

  • always using legally binding agreements with all organisations we use

  • having security and confidentiality policies in place across the organisation, to which staff must agree before they’re given access to personal information

  • restricting access to personal information to only those staff who need access to perform their role

However no software or application can be completely secure. If you have any concerns that your account could have been compromised (for example, someone could have discovered your password), please follow the instructions on our help and support page.

  • the services available via the Praktice Inc Powered AI Assistant and who is involved

  • who the controller is for the personal data processed when you use the Healthcare AI Assistant

  • what information is held about you and where that information is obtained

  • points of contact for queries, objections and complaints

  • make our AI Assistant work, for example by keeping it secure

  • measure how you use AI Assistant, such as how long was the conversation, the search results

  • help show you relevant appointments or storing information of insurance policy for autofilling for booking appointments

The content and software used on this Service and service layout and design are the sole and exclusive property of Praktice.ai. Content and other material on this Service is protected by copyrights, trademarks, service marks, patents, trade secrets, and other proprietary rights and laws. You may use the material on our Site only for personal use as described in these Terms and Conditions.

Our Relationship

These Terms of Service and any documents referred to within it (collectively, the ''Terms'') govern your use of Praktice Inc services and your relationship with us. It is important that you read and understand the Terms before you start using our Services. If there is anything that you do not understand, please contact us at care@praktice.ai to discuss what this means for you.

By using this service, you confirm that you agree with these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms you should not use our Services.

Changes to our Terms and Conditions

Praktice Inc and the provider practice reserves the right, in their sole discretion and with or without notice, to change, modify, add or remove any portion of these Terms and Conditions, in whole or in part, at any time. Notification to these Terms and Conditions will be posted on the service or site. Your continued use of our Service or Site after such changes are posted will constitute your agreement to such changed Terms and Conditions. Please check the Terms and Conditions periodically for changes.
